Terms of Use
Using Koinonia with care
These Terms set the basic expectations for using Koinonia within a church or Christian community. Koinonia has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users or behavior.
Your account
Use accurate account information and keep your device secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your verified account. Contact support promptly if you suspect misuse.
Community access
Access is tied to a community membership and role. Administrators may change roles, disable access or remove membership where authorized to protect the community or operate the service.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
Only authorized publishers and administrators can create posts. You retain responsibility for content you submit and confirm that you have permission to share it. Objectionable content and conduct are prohibited, including harassment, threats, abuse, hate or discrimination, sexual or violent content, privacy violations, spam, misleading material, unlawful content, infringement, or other violations of these Terms or the Community Standards.
Terms and standards acceptance
Every user must actively accept the current Terms of Use before registering or signing in. The agreement is not pre-selected, and registration or login cannot continue until it is accepted. Before publishing or uploading content, eligible users must also actively accept the current Terms and Community Standards. A new publisher acceptance is required when either published version changes.
Reporting and blocking
Members can report an objectionable post from the post’s menu, report a user from that user’s profile, and block a user so that user’s posts no longer appear. Reports are shared with authorized community administrators without exposing the reporter to the reported user.
Enforcement
Administrators may dismiss reports after review, remove objectionable or violating content, suspend access, or terminate access or an account. These actions may be taken for objectionable content, harassment, threats, abuse, unlawful content, other violations of these Terms or the Community Standards, or serious or repeated misconduct. Moderation actions may be recorded for accountability.
Service availability
Koinonia may be interrupted by maintenance, networks or third-party services. Features can change where needed for security, reliability or policy requirements.
Ending use
You may delete your account in the app from Profile → Account → Delete Account, or start a request through the account deletion page. See the Privacy Policy for the current deletion and retention terms.
Applicable law
These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or other protections available to you under applicable law.
